The City of Lansing owns and operates three golf courses and the Sycamore Golf Learning Center. 

Groesbeck Golf Course is 18 holes.
Waverly Golf Course is 9 holes
Red Cedar Golf Course is 9 Holes
Sycamore has a full driving range and putting green

The City of Lansing Golf Operation has the mission to provide quality golf opportunities for all residents, regardless of experience level at reasonable prices.  The addition of the driving range and learning center at the site of the former Sycamore Golf course now gives residents a place to learn the game at a facility designed for beginners (although not limited to beginners) to develop skills before going to other facilities such as the shorter, player friendly Red Cedar course.

Many opportunities exist for young golfers at our facilities.  Our youth season pass scholarship program, funded by the Greater Lansing Amateur Golf Association and the Lansing Youth Recreation Fund, offers students an opportunity to play golf at greatly reduced rates.   We are proud to now be able to start offering youth instructional programs such as Golf Camps 2007 held in cooperation with Michigan State University.  We look forward to the start of First Tee activity at the Sycamore facility, providing golf skills and life skills experiences beginning in 2008.
