1.  Do you provide transportation?

LP&R does NOT provide transportation.  We do work closely with the school district for after-school programs.  We recommend people use Spec-Tran to make arrangements for transportation. 

2.  Does my activity get canceled if the LSD must close the school(s)? 

Yes.  If the school closes during the day for a snow emergency or other situation, the policy is to cancel the activity.

3.  Do you cancel programs during severe weather conditions?

Yes.  I have canceled during snow storms.  We do not want anyone stranded at a facility and not able to make it home.  In the summer months during storm and tornado season I have not canceled programs.  I do notify parents or guardians if any changes are to occur because of severe weather conditions.

4.  Do you have make-up sessions when the pool is down?

Yes.  I try to schedule at least two additional meeting times during each aquatic session. 

5.  How soon should I arrive before a program starts?

It is safe to arrive 15 minutes before a program begins. 

6.  It is the first time attending the activity -how do I locate the room for the activity?

You can always come into the building and go to the main office and ask.  In addition each building does post meeting rooms with the activity listings throughout the building.  If you need additional help call the office and make arrangements with the staff for assistance.
