On-Line Classes Read lessons, participate in exercises, and hold live interactive discussions with instructor and fellow students in your on-line classroom. Runs for 6 weeks and is self paced. Complete the lessons at your own timetable. Course requirements include intermediate PC skills. For more information visit www.gsinet.org. Don' t forget to include your email with registration. Each course runs six weeks and is in an independent learning format. We accept late enrollments, for as long as two weeks into the semester. Students don't have to be available at any specific time. The classroom is open 24 hours per day.
Open Computer Lab Foster Community Center's Computer Room offers free, supervised computer time for homework, writing letters or practicing what you have learned in computer class. All computers are Windows 95 or 98, with Microsoft Works 3.0, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access (Microsoft Office Professional), versions 7, 95 and 97. A limited number of educational games are also available. No Internet Access. Lynn Hershberger and Michael Simmons will be on hand to answer questions and assist in computer usage. Use of this facility is free; however, a fee will be assessed for printed copies of your work.
