  Rules Pertaining To Weddings in Frances Park - Woodland Trail

1. Frances Park is primarily a picnic area. Weddings should not interfere with or take precedence over picnics. This reservation guarantees that no other weddings have been sheduled for the reserved time slot on the Woodland Trail. It does not guarantee exclusive use of the Woodland Trail and area may not be blocked or roped off.

2. The person taking out the reservation shall be held responsible for the conduct of the group and shall see that the grounds are left in a neat, clean and orderly condition.

3. Reservations are accepted up to six (6) months in advance of the date desired. When dates for making a reservation fall on a Saturday or Sunday, the following Monday will be the date of acceptance. THE RESERVATION SEASON BEGINS WITH THE FIRST SATURDAY IN MAY AND ENDS WITH THE SECOND SUNDAY IN OCTOBER.

4. Reservations will be accepted with the provision that reserved periods are subject to changes in fees, ordinances and regulations. There is a $25.00 fee per time slot and more than one time slot may be reserved.

5. A reservation will not be considered final until payment is received. Payment is to be made before use of the facility. Fee must be paid within ten (10) days after the reservation is made. If payment is not received within 10 days, the reservation will be cancelled without further notice. If there are less than 10 days to the date requested, reservations will only be taken with payment.

6. No more than 25 guests.

7. Alocholic beverages are not allowed.

8. There is no seating and chairsa are not to be brought in.

9. No throwing of rice, coins, confetti, bird seed etc.

10. Non-amplified music is allowed, such as a guitar, flute, or small cassette player. Amplified music is not allowed.

11. Tables may be reserved for a reception at the regular charge at the pavilion. No extra tables ares to be brought in and no moving of reserved Parks and Recreation tables.

12. No arrangements are made for adverse weather conditions. There is no refund in the event of adverse weather.

13. Fees are not transferable to a different day or time.

14. Refunds will be granted (less a $10.00 service fee) if cancellation is made thirty (30) days prior to the reservation date. [Exception: If the time slot canceled is reserved and paid for by another group, a refund (less $10.00 service fee) will be granted.] There is no refund due to adverse weather.

15. Permission to waive any rule must be obtained in writing. Verbal permission is invalid.

16. Bring paid recipt to park on date of reservation

GARDEN ETIQUETTE
Our plant collections, like all museum collections, are very important. Please refrain from collecting plants, flowers or labels, climbing on trees and shrubs, and standing or walking in garden beds. Stay on path or walkway where provided. For everyone's safety and enjoyment, active sports or games (baseball, football, soccer, roller-blading, skate-boarding, Frisbee, etc.) are not permitted in garden areas. Pets are not allowed in gardens; guide dogs are welcome.
