A Note from the Chief:
The Lansing Fire Department has a long history of providing a high level of rescue service to the community. Our men and women are highly trained and professional individuals that place their lives on the line every day to keep Lansing safe. It is my goal as the Fire Chief to continue to work closely with our community to identify risk and mitigate those potential hazards that impact life and property while tasking our firefighters to rise and meet new challenges.
I am very excited about the shared services opportunities that Lansing and East Lansing are evaluating and feel very optimistic that the paths we choose will create a more efficient and effective service to our communities.

Burn Permit hours:
Tuesday: 9a.m. to 12 noon and 1 to 3 p.m.
Wednesday: 9a.m. to 12 noon and 1 to 3 p.m.
and/or Thursday: 9a.m. to 12 noon and 1 to 3 p.m.
